Why hello there! I'm Robin. So nice to meet you virtually. 

I'm a Florida-based personal finance writer and editor, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.

I'm a senior editor at The Penny Hoarder, a website with approximately 16 million unique monthly visitors that focuses on interesting ways to make and save money. I'm also the voice behind the "Dear Penny" personal finance column, which is syndicated in the Sunday business section of the Tampa Bay Times.

My passion is making personal finance accessible to everyone, including people who don't have the resources to work with a financial planner. I love cutting through financial jargon and giving readers actionable advice that they can use to make their lives better. 

A little more about me: I'm a native #Floridawoman and proud University of Florida grad. (Insert the obligatory "Go Gators! here.)

I started my career in local news at the Observer Media Group and eventually became managing editor of two community newspapers. 

Interests include being in or on the water, reading, craft beer, cornhole, shuffleboard, exercise and my mischievous rescue dog, Kermit.

Oh, and sometimes I wear my pajamas to work.
